Tuesday was my birthday, so I ventured to the Anderson Japanese gardens in Rockford for a study. I had a really fun time feeding the Koi and made friends with a turtle.

Folks were super polite and supportive; on my way out they asked to see my work proclaiming, "you were there for awhile!" 🫣😅 yes, these take some time and that .005 Micron was a decision.

I think I'll go to the Jackson Park garden next. Perhaps that's closer LOL.

Day 2 of my journey returning to my art account.

Not super proud of today's study, but that's what studies are for. I am a big fan of the little and big adirondack chairs my neighbor's have though.

I met a lot of ants today. Pro tip: do not leave your lunch plate on your picnic blanket 🫣 Shout out to our squirrel lil guy, the bunny, the neighborhood cat, "Monkey Monk" the chipmunk, and all the birds that kept me and the ants company.
